Research for #1 Question of CCR

Research for Question #1 of CCR

It is officially that time of the project. I am intimidated and excited that everything is starting to wrap up.
Here is my approach for my CCR research:
1. Brainstorm my answer
2. Collect the research, screenshots, videos, and citations I want to include

Looking at my approach written down rather than floating in my head is definitely a weight off my shoulders! Phew! The CCR is intimidating me, but the steps I created are really helping break it down into easier steps that will make sure this whole process ends up stress-free.

Question
How does your product use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups or issues?

Step #1
Here are some points I want to include in my blog post! I looked back at this section of my drama research blogpost to make the list.
- Typical genre conventions of a drama: internal and external conflict, "somebody wants something, something's standing in their way of getting it," tension, close ups, focus on character's emotions, muted palette, low-key lighting
- Genre conventions challenged: no pans/no static camera movement, manipulate pacing and rhythm
- Representation: costuming, mise-en-scene (dirty dishes, bills)
- Issue: Extreme attempts for financial stability

Step #2
I plan on using this as a bank for everything I plan on showing in my CCR, so later I can just pull everything from here and move on.

This blogpost allowed me to sort my ideas for my CCR. When the time comes, I just need to organize my bullet points into a script and I can grab my research from resent blog posts!
