The video had to be filmed in a school setting, so my partner and I based our film around being tardy to class and having a difficult exam since those are reasons we'd be concerned in school. Here is our brainstorming sheet with our shot list:
Our storyboard made us more confident in the outcome of our project by turning visions in our heads into a clear sequence.
To edit the video, we used Adobe Express! After viewing the final product we felt it was a good attempt for our first time using editing techniques; however, a few things could use improvement. For example, the running scene at the beginning of the video did not flow seamlessly because of gaps between the scenes. Next time we want to make sure we don't leave any gaps. Also we need to improve our acting and facial expressions to match the tone of the piece.
We are satisfied by how we did not leave gaps between scenes at the end of the video and are proud about the variety of editing techniques we used to maintain viewers' attention. For instance, through an insert of a phone displaying the time in the middle of a running scene.
